Dominical Costa Rica Real Estate
The popularity of Costa Rica among tourists has helped spread the word about the great possibilities of investing in the Dominical Costa Rica real estate. Being called Central America's Switzerland has created wonders not only for Costa Rica real estate but for Papagayo Costa Rica real estate and even the Puerto Viejo Costa Rica real estate.
Dominical is a tropical paradise located in Costa Rica's southern Pacific Zone. Like most tropical areas, residents and tourists can enjoy the summer season from May to December and the winter season from June to November. Here are the top reasons why both tourists and real estate investors flock to Costa Rica:
1. Warm Ticos
Costa Ricans are fondly called Ticos by residents and visitors alike. Ticos are very warm, friendly and fun-loving people. This may be inherent to them or because majority of the Ticos are satisfied and happy with their lives. With a growing middle class, there is more reason for them to shout "Pura Vidal". Costa Rica has a high literacy rate (93%), thanks to the establishment of an education that is not only free but also compulsory for its youth. Their health care system, which has been patterned after Canada, can be attributed to the improving life expectancy rate among Ticos.
2. Political stability
One of the main attractions of investing in Dominical Costa Rica real estate is the political stability in the area. Costa Rica's 100-year old democracy is considered one of the oldest among the Latin American countries and Costa Ricans are very proud of this. The fact that the Costa Rican government diverted its financial resources from military support and defense to health and education should be an eye opener to countries that place much importance on their military powers. 3. Environment
The natural beauty of Costa Rica can be attributed to a healthy and well-cared for environment. Despite being a mere dot in the whole land mass with a meager 20,000 square miles, Costa Rica is home to more plant and animal species per acre compared to other countries in the world, big or small. The following data is enough to make a statement for Costa Rica's diversity:
· 10,000 plant species
· 850 bird species
· 500 species of amphibians, reptiles and mammals
· 800 butterfly species
· 30% of the total area classified and protected as national parks
Aside from this, Costa Rica is also home to mountains, plantations planted to papaya, sugar, banana, coffee and pineapple as well as bountiful marine resources. 4. Amazing real estate projects
There is a specific real estate property project for every person whether he desires the more expensive high-end real estate projects or the more affordable and low end real estate investments. But no matter which he chooses he is assured of the best design and development. Baby boomers are rushing in to Playa Dominical especially with the release of up to 54 new condos with ocean view, at very affordable prices. While the sale condominium real estate projects are not that plenty in Dominical region right now, the continued expansion of real estate companies in the area may just surprise even the residents themselves. With these reasons and more, it isn't a surprise why Dominical is now considered the largest developer of real estate in this part of Costa Rica. My personal favorites for investing are Tamarindo Costa Rica real estate and coming a close third is San Jose Costa rica real estate followed by Montezuma Costa Rica real estate
